Timberline Landscaping had grown beyond just landscaping and needed to diversify its offers across a portfolio of brands to best serve their customer segments. They were ready to capitalize on their ability to serve a broad range of outdoor beautification needs, such as commercial trail building, materials transportation, and pre-fab metal building construction.


Their challenge was to reposition the company to take advantage of new opportunities without alienating their existing loyal customers or losing 40 years of brand recognition. The result was a cohesive family of brands that could stand alone, but still reinforce the parent brand's reputation and maintained a nod to the past.

The abstract mountain shape carried long-time recognition with the company and was brought forward into the new system.

The brand architecture took shape across logical delineations of service offerings, all led by a parent brand.
